The time on my Mac differs from my iPhone.

On the Mac, the Live Activity counts down using your Mac's clock. If that clock is out of sync, the time differs. Fix: Mac → System Settings → General → Date & Time → turn on "Set time automatically". The iPhone time is correct.

Can I control the timer from the Lock Screen?

Yes. From the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island you can pause, resume, stop and log distractions with one tap, without opening the app. Also on your Mac (macOS Sequoia).

Why does the timer keep running when I close the app?

By design: a focus timer should keep running in the background. To end it, tap Stop on the Lock Screen, or open the app and tap Pause or Reset.

How do I set the ratio of focus to break?

In "Adjustable" mode you drag the ring. There are also fixed modes: Pomodoro (25/5), Classic (45/15) and Sequence.

The dots for setting the time on the ring are gone.

The drag handles only appear in "Adjustable" mode and only while the timer is not running. So check two things: are you in a fixed mode (Pomodoro, Classic or Sequence)? Then switch back to "Adjustable". Is the timer running or paused? Reset it, and the dots come back.

How do I switch between the break exercises?

During the break, swipe through the exercises in the ring: breathing, neck, shoulders, wrists and eyes. You can turn them off in Settings.

What does the distraction button do?

Tap it in real time when you get distracted. In History, fewer distractions means a good day. The goal is to spot your patterns.

How is the water goal calculated?

From body weight × factor (usually 0.030–0.035 l/kg), capped at 4.2 l. A rough guideline, not medical advice.

Where is my data stored?
