Privacy
This policy covers the website reell.ai. In short: we use no tracking, no advertising and no analytics. We only collect what you send us yourself, when you use the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter.
The apps have their own policies, because they work without a server at all. They are listed further down.
Who is responsible
reell, Switzerland. For privacy questions you can reach us at support@reell.ai.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by a provider in Switzerland. Like every web server, it keeps access logs. These contain the IP address, the time and the requested address, among other things. The logs serve operation and security; we do not analyse them by person.
No cookies, no tracking
The website sets no cookies for advertising or statistics and embeds no external services. Fonts and the QR code are served from our own server, so no data goes to anyone else. A technically necessary session cookie is only created on the internal subscriber overview, which visitors cannot reach.
Round counter on the Pomodoro timer
The timer in your browser tells us when a focus round has finished. All that travels with it is which of the four lengths was chosen, for example “25/5”. What gets stored from that is a single number per length and day, and the total is shown openly under the timer. No identifier, no cookie, no IP address and no timestamp end up in that file, and no profile is built. We want to know whether the timer is used, not by whom. Anyone who only opens the page, starts the timer or stops it never shows up.
Contact form
When you submit the form we process: your name, email address, the chosen product, your message, the time and your IP address. The message is sent to our mailbox and additionally stored on the server, so that no enquiry is lost if sending fails. That copy sits outside the publicly reachable area.
If you pick a product, two optional fields appear for device and app version. They help us track down a bug; you may leave them empty. We also record which browser and operating system made the request, for example "Safari" and "iOS 18.5". Your browser sends this along anyway.
Your address receives a short acknowledgement with a reference number we file the enquiry under. The text of your message is not included in it.
The IP address serves only to limit abuse (at most five submissions in ten minutes). We use your details only to reply to you. On request we delete them, just write to support@reell.ai.
Newsletter
Signing up uses double opt-in: after entering your address you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only when you open it do you end up on the list. This way nobody can sign up someone else.
We store: your email address, your first name, the language of the website, a coarse country indication, browser and operating system, and the times of signup and confirmation. The first name is optional, the field may stay empty; it is only used to address you in our emails. Country, browser and system come from headers your browser sends anyway; we keep only the family, so for example "Safari" and "macOS", without version numbers. No geolocation service is involved, and your IP address is not carried into the subscriber list.
If you do not confirm, the open entry is deleted after seven days. The list sits on our server, outside the publicly reachable area, and is not passed on.
You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every email or directly here: unsubscribe from the newsletter. Your address is removed from the list immediately.
Your rights
You can ask at any time what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted. A message to support@reell.ai is enough.
The apps
Our apps work entirely on your device, with no account and no server. What that means in detail is described in their own policies:
Changes
If something about the website changes, we update this policy.
